Welcome to Professometer™, the Chrome extension that analyzes your email professionalism. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data. Spoiler alert: We actually care about your privacy because we're too lazy to build a backend to store your data anyway.
The short answer: Nothing. Your emails never leave your browser.
The long answer: Professometer processes your email content entirely client-side (in your browser). We don't transmit, store, or have access to:
Our extension runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Here's what happens:
Actually, we don't even have servers. This whole thing runs on a static site and vibes.
Professometer uses the following third-party services:
We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any data collection tools. We literally have no idea who you are or how you're using this.
Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions:
Yes, we know these permissions sound scary. But remember: we're analyzing your emails locally. We literally can't send them anywhere even if we wanted to.
We don't store any of your data. Not on our servers, not in the cloud, not in a database. Your professionalism scores exist only in the moment they're calculated and then vanish into the ether like your hopes of achieving inbox zero.
Since we don't collect your data, you have the following rights:
Professometer is not intended for use by children under 13. If you're under 13, you probably shouldn't be worrying about email professionalism anyway. Go outside and play.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we don't have your email (or any way to contact you), you'll need to check back here yourself.
But let's be honest, this policy isn't changing. We're not collecting data now, and we're not planning to start.
This is a satirical project created for entertainment purposes. While the privacy policy is written in a humorous tone, the privacy practices described are accurate: we genuinely do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or email content. Everything runs locally in your browser.
